Fourth of July weekend, 1970

The Atlanta International Pop Festival must have been one hell of a trip, judging by the Allman Brothers sets (two of 'em). Them were the days.

Oh, yeah, some other bands there too:

BB King
Its a Beautiful Day
Captain Beefheart
Chambers bros.
Mountain
Ginger baker's Air Force
Richie Havens
Jimi Hendrix!!
10 Years After
Jethro Tull
Lee Michaels
John Sebastian
Johnny Winter

Ohmigod. Sounds like it was miserable hot and about as stoned as a concert could ever be, even in 1970.
