Xmas burglars apparently don't like cigars.
Well, I came home Wednesday before Christmas to discover my apartment had been burglarized. a window had been pried open, and they had taken an assortment of stuff, including my laptop and strongbox full of personal papers (blank checkbooks, car title, social security card, etc).
Luckily, my coolerdor which was setting on my desk was present and untouched. Monday a friend had dropped off a big holiday package of cigars including two anejo, opus, WOAN, some hemingway masterpiece maduro and ashton vsg. I'm really fortunate that all those cigars were still there. Oddly enough, none of my homebrewing gear was touched either. They didn't even try any of the beer in my beer fridge. I'm going to go enjoy a good cigar right now, it's the first day it's been warm enough to smoke outside here in a week and I'm looking forward to it. On another note, my laptop had my cookie with my CW password in it, so any really strange posts by me (unlikely, but it could happen) are from the thieves... maybe i'll get their ip if they do that... Anyway, everyone have a Merry Christmas (belated as it is) and a Happy New Year.
