I really love Knob Creek bourbon. Here's a tasting of mine. I hope you enjoy it.

Sale priced at $26.95 for a 750ml flask at the Virginia ABC stores.

Knob Creek comes in a simple classic styled flask that has a cork finished cap that is sealed in a black synthetic "wax". You used to have to break out your robogrip pliers to open one of these puppies, but they've taken care of that little annoyance and now the wax pops right off. The flask dosen't pour worth a damn and the bourbon runs down the side of the bottle. If you've got a pour spout stopper you'd better use it. There's a couple of labels slapped on the bottle that say cutesy-pooh things.

When you pull the cork on this puppy music and laughter come pouring out. I do believe it's Roomful of Blues with their scortching hot horn section playing the title track off their CD "There Goes The Neighborhood".

Knob Creek is a medium amber with an orange cast to it. This bourbon fairly dances out of the bottle and into the glass. Someone is telling a risque joke - 'Did you hear the one about the master distiller's daughter..."

The four major constituents of the flavor bourbon are all here in boisterous abundance. Corn; Oak, Vanilla, and Caramel rush up your nostrils and into your brain causing your nural synapses to spark and fire with joy. Your toe starts to tap with a primative jungle beat. There are more complex aromatic qualities here but there's no time. Gotta mingle, dance, and laugh. There's a party going on here!

One sip and your taste buds start to rejoice.The Corn; Oak, Vanilla, and Caramel are dancing a lewd boogaloo on your tongue. You swallow with eager anticapation. A feeling of great well being and happiness spreds throughout your body. A sexual warmth builds in your loins. Your pelvis begins to move to the beat in suggestive thrusts. Life is Good! You are Happy!

Knob Creek tastes so good and is so easy to drink you don't notice the finish until the bottle is empty. So creamy smooth. So honey sweet. Open the bottle. Empty the bottle. No need to worry about such things a storage or oxidation problems. No need to worry about "cork taint".Your only worry is "Do I Have Enough?". The answer is always a resounding ***NO**! Better buy more. Much More.

Knob Creek isn't the only Beam bourbon that I buy, but I buy a lot of it. This is the best small batch bourbon on the market. Exceeded only by special single barrel bourbons at twice the price.
