One of my favorite sports to watch is hockey, especially NCAA hockey when I get the chance to go to a game. Even though now I go to Ohio State games (and attend the school part time, on an occasional basis), the team I root for is the UMASS-Lowell River Hawks Who play Div 1 in the Hockey east conference. This is the college in my hometown, and also the college I attended for 2 semesters right out of HS, before moving to Ohio. Although they are affiliated witht he other UMASS campuses (Dartmouth, Boston, Amherst, etc.) it seems to run like a seperate school complete with its own athletic programs. Anyway, they are a middle of the road team this year, but every now and then they challenge on a national basis. So anyway, are their any other Hockey-Heads out there?
