Blue Ridge Snowball's Chance
What a name for a beer! Another in my long list of seasonal ale's I've been sampling over the past few months. Made by the Frederick Brewing Co. of Maryland, Blue Ridge is their flagship microbrew.
This ale has a very dark reddish color to it and looks great. The aroma is wonderful with a great hop and maltiness present. The flavors begin with a touch of malt sweetness and then goes to a nice bitter hop flavor. All in all, a very good winter ale.
