This cigar has a very appealing medium brown wrapper with rich tobacco aromas. Tobacco with some sweet notes from the foot. The cold draw is a bit loose and has a hint of cedar. Today’s beverage is a cold Topo Chico.



Initial notes include a light sweetness with cedar and almond. The wrapper has a silky feel which is pleasing to the touch. The draw remains generous with plentiful smoke and the burn is mostly even.



The first third is very smooth. The sweetness subsides as the almond notes increase over the cedar base. This is a medium bodied smoke with a cool and pleasant retrohale. The burn is a bit off center but remains mostly even.

During the second third paprika notes appear on the upper palate to give the smoke a rounder flavor profile. There are also some light pepper notes in the retrohale. The cigar continues to burn well with a solid light grey ash.



Approaching the final inch salt notes have replaced the paprika as the pepper notes settle into the retrohale. The cigar has a fairly dry, salty finish. Some of the initial sweetness has also returned. The overall construction is good, as is the complexity. This is a very good afternoon smoke and pairs very well with the mineral water.
