Thinking of getting a manual meat grinder

I am thinking of getting a manual meat grinder for a few reasons , it will cost about 50% for me to grind it vs price of pre-ground meat , I can control what cuts go into it and I do not have room to store an electric grinder.

I do have a Kitchenaid stand mixer , but , the grinding attachment seems to be hit or miss , two people I know have them , one loves it , other got rid of it...

I am only talking about grinding maybe several pounds at a time nothing high volume.

So , does anyone have any recommendations?

And/or a grinder you no longer use/need that you would like to sell..

Thoughts ?

Dan
