As I had mentioned in the "Booze" thread, bought a bottle with lunch yesterday, tried it last night. Very tasty. The most noticeable initial element was a strong taste of the barrell char - reminded me a bit of Elijah Craig 12 in this respect (but only in this respect!). Underlying notes of vanilla, honey, caramel, and cinnamon. Would go well with a nice, strong BBF. I'll have to see how my impression holds up as I work my way through the bottle (I've discovered that I never get a true feeling for a bourbon 'til I'm about halfway through the bottle).
