You've convinced me to try IPAs again.
Yesterday I picked up two six packs; the first was new belgium ranger, the second is boulevard 80 acre, a heavily hopped wheat, not really an ipa.
I tried the ranger yesterday, and it was an interesting thing. It had the heavy herbal/piney taste of the hops that i'm used to, but it also had a powerful citrus element to it, I'm not sure if it was orange or grapefruit. No, it wasn't horrible, wasn't overpowering, and maybe, it might make it into the summer rotation. Try another one later \today. |
