Officiating getting worse in NCAA?

Or just getting more attention?

Such as the Syracuse-Toledo game a week ago. Where the FG attempt clearly hit the upright, and went wide..but was called good. And even then, the replay official didn't overturn the call. WTF???
I could care less about either team, but damn...at least get the calls right in replay.

Then there is inconsistency in officiating. It either IS..or ISN'T a personal foul to hit a QB late, especially leading with your head. But not consistently called in a few games I've watched this year.

Then the Auburn-South Carolina game. Replays showed there was one second left on the clock, when the SC player not only got first down, but was down.
And Most media agrees..there was a second on the clock.

I think it was a bad call. But maybe if SC hadn't played like shit for 4 quarters, they might have had a chance.

That said, how come it was ok for Texas-Nebraska a couple of years ago to put a second back on the clock, which I think had actually run out...and Texas kicks a FG, and goes to National Championship and gets beat by Bama.

What's the difference? Both methods of officiating can't be right.

Officiating has never been perfect, but I thought with instant replay and review, it would get better. I guess not.
