Perdomo Reserve R Maduro

Perdomo Reserve R Maduro
5.00 X 54

Purchased: 2003

This cigar was from a 5-pk I purchased from JR's. Stored cello off.

The wrapper was a mottled maduro, lightly veined. I would call it more a dark EMS.

Prelight draw was just right with good plain-old tobacco flavor.

The flavor and aroma were just great. The flavor was a toasty tobacco with a hint of sweet spiciness. Not creamy, but the smoke was smooth as silk on a medium body. The profile stayed pretty much the same as it burned down with perhaps a bit more pronounced spiciness closer to the end. The burn was perfectly straight the whole way.

Bottom line: +

Man, now I wish I would of bought a whole box and stashed them away instead just a couple from a 5-pk. Age served these smokes very well.
