mold question??

First off, I tried the search but couldn't find a good answer.

I just received a fuente special from a vendor and a few of the sticks have mold on them. I know there is a problem with the recent stuff so Im sure its mold not plume. I also looked at pictures to see the difference.
My question is, I wiped them off but I want to know what I can do to get rid of the mold because I want to store them but I dont want to contaminate my other sticks? I believe freezing the sticks will just render the mold dormant. I did read about someone rubbing the sticks down with a high strength drinkable alcohol which seems to make some sense. Any thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
