Okay, when the power had been out fore three days, the pipes were freezing, and I was in mortal fear that I would lose my home to some destructive process, I went out and bought beer.

Thank God, seriously, we got through that outage and ice storm with nothing but a bruise on my ribs.

The beers were all good, though.

Duvel, and $10 for four, was the most exopensive beer I have ever had. At the end of your life, though, splurge.

It was a sweetish, aromatic, fruity flavored ale. No significant hops, no malt presence. It was, however, a heavy and dense tasting beer, almost syrupy in my impression. Wonderful.

Rather hoppy, with a good, clean taste. Full flavpred. Love this stuff.

Fram something, from that same place.

Well, it was raspberry beer, and it was alright. Hard to really analyze.

Saison, same brewery.

I don't remember it, but I liked it.

Sierra Nevada celebration.

Strong hops, rather like an IPA, not what I usually expect a porter or other dark lager type.

These last five days have been a real load. I'm going back and getting a couple more to review.
