Camacho Again..CC-ish; Tatuaje
i have been steadily smoking my way through a sampler by a fine BOTL that contained great deal of Camacho Corojo and SLR cigars. At the same time, I have been developing my taste for the darkside. I must say that after three months of non-stop experimentation (admittadly not a long time, but I have been smoking 2-7 different cigars a day for those 3+ months), I have found no NC cigars that remind me as much of CC's as the Tatuaje Brown label Cojonu's and the Camacho Corojos.
The Camachos are briny, mildly cirtus-y and nicely powerful; The Tatuaje Cojonu's are leathery, nose-tingling and *very* strong. I do not believe that these cigars have the overall Cuban profile, but they come damned close. None of that cardboardiness of Villazon cigars, nor the slightly boring sweetness of the non OpusX Fuente's. No real conclusions here. Just mad props for Camacho Corojo and Tatuaje. |
