I'm not a fan of the popular fruit-flavored tobaccos. In general they don't use the best quality tobaccos ... tend to smoke hot ... and have quite a bit of excess moisture which goops up my pipes.
There are some decent choices out there for aromatic smokers though. I found Stokkebye's Nougat / Pistachio blends, Dan's Blue Note and Bufflehead Cinnamon Teal are quite good. These are all fairly mild but with sweet flavors and a nice room aroma. In addition some of my favorite tobaccos are flavored with liquor. Pembroke is topped with congac and Barbary Coast with brandy. These are more medium bodied blends, but again have very good flavors. |
