The fact about blind choices came from a very reliable source. I'm not at liberty to finger anyone specifically.
Curiously, I recall during a discussion on the Whisky Mag forum that someone said they personally had done a similar experiment and found people blindly chose Buffalo Trace over Blanton's. I can't attest to that being factual, perhaps they were privy to the same info I came into and made a post of it. But, if true, it was pretty much icing on the reliable source's info I obtained.
