You're funny Tommy.
Nope. My bride got us 50 yard line nose bleed seats. A good view but, well, they were free. It was difficult to go to this game. It was sunny and 70 upon walking into the Carrier Dome. I was really wishing they could pull the roof off. Inside the dome it was like, uh, being inside a domed stadium on a sunny day. The announced crowd was 35,000 or so, but I'd estimate that it was closer to 28,000. It semed as if it was at less than half capacity. Despite this it was a good day, SU looked fine except for and offensive lapse in the 2nd quater and a defensive lapse in the third quarter. The highlight was watching the tail back, Walter Reyes, rack up 200+ yards and four touchdowns, He had a game. He especially did a fine job reading his block and at times, trotting behind his linemen waiting for a moment and then accelerating for yards. Central Florida had their moments but could'nt seem to get the ball in the end zone. Overall this just wasn't great football. It seems like yesterday that McNabb was leading the team down the field in the big house and embarrasing Michigan. Now we play Toledo next. Sheeesh. All in all, the woman did good. I mean really, how many times does your wife come home and say "I've gotta surprise for you on Saturday" and it actually involves a football game? latter we watched the LSU vs. Georgia game and wondered why crowds at the dome weren't as exciting. I'd love to have been at that game!
