This cigar has a six-sided box press with a medium dark wrapper that is very smooth and somewhat oily. Only very light tobacco aromas are in the foot. The cold draw is perfect. Tonight’s beverage is a Shiner Bock, a safe pairing for any smoke.



The initial smoke is very smooth and rich. The flavor profile is medium bodied and tobacco forward. The ash is mottled grey. The burn is even.
In the first third the flavor profile takes on a loamy sweetness with hints of coffee and cocoa. The retohale remains smooth and full. The ash looks fairly solid and taps off in a solid chunk leaving a sharp cone. The burn begins to be diagonal.



During the second third the smoke remains rich and thick. The flavor profile remains medium bodied and smooth. The burn has evened out surrounding a conical ash.



Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains medium bodied and solid. The retohale remains smooth even though it picks up strength. The burn is uneven but steady and the ash remains conical.



Overall a very good cigar. Excellent flavor complexity and good construction with just some burn issues. 9.6/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
