Sadder thing is the my step-son's biological father was killed in a similar way. Thrown from the car in a one-car accident after shooting pool with a guy he helped move back to NOLA from Toronto.

The bastard had the balls to go back to Canada for treatment for his back (for free) and then raised a legal lawsuit against the American insurance company, which left my wife in limbo for years just waiting to make her cry on the witness stand for his financial well-being. He's now a stock-broker on the back (in AZ) off of his winnings in the suit.

Needless to say, we don't associate with him or his wife anymore. I refuse to associate myself with someone that cravenly greedy that wants to exploit my wife to that extent for years.. All they needed to do was to get her to cry on the stand as a victim. Fuck him and feed him fisheads.
