my thoughts on humidity is that your senses are as important as the number... do they smell right, do they feel right, etc. A well stored cigar has a particualr and to me very pleasant feel and touch.
I don't have hygrometers in my coolers. I do have them in my humis but look at them for trends and accept they are off a bit. The above is my opinion, by all means store your cigars as you like them.
