Mike, on paper, Netherlands wasn't a bad pick at all. They went to the World Cup final, now, once there, a VERY talented side, played a violent, cynical match, and deservedly lost. But much of that squad is still around, and still VERY talented. They didn't play for their coach, maybe, or for themselves. They were terrible, and the coach resigned with two years left on his contract. But at the international level, it wasn't just the manager, it was the players, too.
