Cuba Aliados Anniversary...

....Limited Edition Diadema in Maduro.

Had my first maduro in this line. I've had any number of the Shorts, in natural wrapper (Ecuador Sumatra aged six years.) But last night, Mad Dawg, MTusa and I went out for a cigar at Dos Jefes Uptown Cigar Bar, here in New Orleans.
Dawg handed me this lovely little maduro perfecto, the wrapper is a three year old Corojo.

What a lovely, flavorful cigar. It wasn't a knockout, but it was jam-packed with flavor. This size and shape is a favorite. It's a 5 inch perfecto with a belicoso head. It took my second puff, after the burn had settled in from lighting, and this sweetish, cedary character took off and didn't let go.

To the Reyes Family, Frank Santos, José Ortega and the rest, fantastic cigar.

Followed with a Cazador, it was a good night.
