I needed to fix that situation, so I picked up a couple bottles of Hennepin and tasted (well, drank the whole thing) last night. Hmmmm. It's too bad it's been so long since I tried it, because I could swear they've changed the recipe since Ommegang was bought by Moortgat.
It was gooooooooooooood. Very good. If I'd tasted it without knowing what it was, I'm quite convinced I would have thought it was genuine Belgian golden ale. And cheap? Jeeze. Going to need a case.
