solomr2, I recently bought three boxes of LGC Miami and they all came in a dress box. In fact, all the LGC Miami I have came in similar boxes.
I do have a box of LGC Serie R (all Serie R are made in DR) which come in a brown laquered wood box as you've described. I believe all LGC Serie R come in similar boxes. In my experience, there are construction differences. I've heard from other people, and agree, that the Miami torpedos are better made than the DR torpedos because the Miami roller has been doing it forever. I typically buy the Miami product because, again, I found that the DR product really sucked when they were first getting the DR operation off the ground... and old habits are hard to break. |
