RIP Tina Turner
Born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush Tennessee, she overcame an abusive relationship with husband Ike Turner to become a superstar in the 80s and continued performing until her retirement in 2009. She had moved to Europe and became a citizen of Switzerland. Dead at 83.
