Most new humidors come with analog hygrometers. I've never seen one that can't be adjusted (You just move the dial around the mechanism. Usually with a screwdriver). I won't vouch for accuracy but you can absolutely mess with 'em.

The digitals are a different story.

Beads, yeah. That's all I use. But it costs more to buy a pre-fab bead humidifier. Ya see a lot of the cheap oasis type because...well, they're cheap!
