We had pizza last night, which is actually pretty good for "homemade " institutional, and one of the better meals here.

Unfortunately I fell asleep and missed out.

I friggin' LOVE cigars

Pork loin with baby red potatoes and cabbage, ala crockpot.

Also have cabbage and ground beef simmering for egg rolls tomorrow night.

Went to Shabuya in Las Vegas. It is a Shabu Shabu Japanese restaurant. It is basically hot pots filled with a broth or soup base like miso or sukiyaki. You fill plates with various fresh veggies, raw seafood, thin sliced beef, lamb and pork. You stick it all in the hot soup base to cook in front of each person. Also had various sashimi, sushi rolls, even fried chicken. The sauces are awesome. Here's some pics...

Went to a local casino off the LV strip called Jerry's Nugget Casino. It came highly recommended so I checked it out for their steak and lobster dinner for $9.99. It was outstanding. The catch is it’s only served after 9:00pm.

Where do you get bison ribeyes besides Ted's Montana Grill? I know they must be available, but the only bison I have found around here is ground...even at specialty butchers.

Went to a friends house for a home cooked meal. We had chicken parmesan, spaghetti, and salad. Dessert was a failed attempt at a chocolate cake with bananas and homemade whipped cream. The cake would not cooperate so the cake was crumbled and added to the other ingredients. It was still a really good dessert.

Getting ready to smoke Padrón Aniversario 1964’s, one of my all time favorite cigars.
