I had the chainsaw fired up cutting firewood today. I smoked a Partagas Spanish Rosado Santiago this morning before cutting wood. Then this afternoon I smoked a Torano Casa Torano maduro robusto while watching the Jayhawks squeek by the Colorado Buffaloes. I'm not sure what I'll smoke tonight. But I do know that in about 10 minutes I'm going to have home made split pea and ham soup for supper!

Pea soup? Ham? BEANS? God help us!
No smokes for me today. Too damn cold to be outside and don't have time to head to the bar. Maybe Sunday. |

It's been a good weekend so far. I got to sleep in a bit and catch up on some sleep lost during a long work week. I went out with the family and picked up some odds and ends that we needed for the household.
I smoked an ERDM PC this afternoon. Unfortunately it was a bit too tight. But I was still glad to get outside on a 45 degree, February 2nd in Boston. Then I had a nice steak frites dinner with the family.

Parades last night, and tomorrow.
Last night was a dark, unbanded beauty that tasted really amazing. I have NO CLUE what it was. You know, I kind of like it that way, too. Since I don't have much of a cigar budget, it's better not to have ANOTHER brand that I'd like to buy. Second one was on of those Tatuajes I asked about a couple weeks ago, the one with the mixed filler. It's not bad at all. It bore a bit of resemblance to a Dominican, but I don't think it is. I have another one and will try it before I pronounce on these. I'm taking a few tomorrow between Beau and I it should be a good day.

35 degrees but dead calm so I fired up the propane heater out on the patio and enjoyed an Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Toro Maduro. I really like 'em!
