Hi, I first tried cigars in 1994. A friend of mine from the northeast US brought me a cigar that I absolutely fell in love with. However I neglected to get the name of the cigar, and have been searching for it ever since. If you can help me find it I would be eternally grateful.

The most distinguishing thing about it was the wrapper. It may not have even been a genuine cigar, because I am not certain the wrapper was made entirely of tobacco leaf. It was very dark and incredibly strong (physically). For example, after I smoked about half of it, I cut the ash end off, and stuck it in my pants pocket and walked back to my dorm. It survived easily, as the wrapper was like tree bark. The texture of the wrapper seemed almost like miniature burlap, as if it was manufactured.

The taste of the cigar was very mild but flavorful, not smokey in the least. All I can remember of the ring is that it was red, and whatever was written on it reminded me of government. Possibly a country name, the word "republic", etc.

I don't care if this was a cheap 2 dollar imitation cigar, pride is not an issue! I just want to smoke more of them. If you can help me find this cigar, it would be greatly appreciated.
