La Luna Cigars

I see his website is still up and running but you still can't buy any cigars or use the forums. Is he still in business and anyone have any news on what's going on with Gael and La Luna circa 2011?

Although I don't have an update about La Luna I've always regreted never ordering any of Gael's cigars. From what I read in the past I would've been missing them greatly.

I don't think La Luna has been in business, or should I say active, in quite some time. From what I understood, Gael was still blending and producing cigars on a very small scale at some cigar shop in Miami and that they are selling them exclusively out of that shop.

At least that is what I was told by somebody here at CW a year or two ago when I trying to find out the same thing and had basically asked the same question. I don't remember who it was that told me that though.

I was told these were blended by Gale to approximate the old Blue Band blend. The lanceros are pretty nice smokes.

I still have 2 LHB Coladas from about 9 years ago. Maybe I'll smoke one today.

The African and Maduro Fuertes were my favorites. Sad they are gone.

I never knew Gael had changed hos last name to Luna.

Sorry that he's been reduced to selling bundle cigars but if these even remotely approximate the old LHB then this would be one of the steal of the cigar industry.
