UGH, how bad is this?
Being winter time I don't open the humidor much, but I did take a peek just now and found that last time I put water in the humidifier I must not have attached it with the velcro very well and it fell off landing on the cigars.
A bit of water leaked onto two cigars and they got mold on them. I am not an expert, but I am fairly sure this is not bloom and they did get moldy. The mold was contained to those two cigars and I did toss them. Inspecting the other cigars I see no signs of anything that is even suspect. Are the rest of the cigars still OK or are they contaminated just by being in the humidor? The two I had to toss were Cubans with some deecnt age on them, I REALLY hope the rest are OK, but if they are not safe to smoke I need to know. Thanks for any help you can be.
