We're rockin' the Premiership...
Tim Howard may have unseated Fabien Barthez as Manchester United's starting goalkeeper with his performances on the U.S. tour and in the Charity Shield match vs. Arsenal yesterday. Saved a breakaway from Sylvain Wiltord in the match's dying moments - then saved two penalties in the shootout. Also...word is that Bobby Convey will leave DC United for the friendly confines of White Hart Lane. Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to inking the kid - although I don't believe he'll crack the starting XI, he'll get invaluable experience playing with the reserve side... |
