Alec Bradley SCR

Yesterday, while at my local cigar shop, I picked up an
AB Special Cabinet Reserve yesterday afternoon. I don't know which wrapper it had, but it was medium brown. I lit up the corona sized cigar when I got home. I was surprised how mild it was. Although being mild, it had good taste, burned evenly throughout, and had a very good aroma. I would probably buy another, but probably would not buy a whole box. I'll rate it out of 5.

I tried a robusto size about a month or so ago at a local shop here. I don't know if it was because of the cigar I smoked before but the SCR tasted all vegetably and sour to me. Like I was eating some type of green vegetable. I couldn't finish it. I've been tempted to try again because i like Alec Bradley cigars but haven't been able to get the experience out of my mind enough yet.

I don't get it. The SCR's are not very good (mild & balnd) and the price is high. On the other hand the harvest habano's are MUCH better and much cheaper - go figure!
