Koko Taylor RIP

One of the greatest female blues artist. When she belted (growled) out a song, you felt it down to your shoes.

She was outstanding. She sang as if she lived each and every song.

She'll be kickin a wang dang doodle all night long up in heaven.

Although since heaven is eternal, she might be doing it for eternity, which could be pretty hellish after a while.

In her younger days she was one of the most powerful I have ever seen - spent some time on her bus with her - She was a sweetheart of a person. I actually got a little emotional when koko passed, i think she was a very special person.

She was great in her day.
