Antique Humidors

Why do you never see antique humidors anywhere? I've found antique ashtrays, lighters, pipes, etc. But in all my looking never a humidor. As old as cigar smoking is you would think that there would be some around.

I think they get trown away or people didn't/don't know what they are and just use them as boxes.

People think they are collectable and worth alot of money (some are) and they get snatched up really fast.

FSU, I know what you mean. I visit any antique store that I come across and you never see humidors.

Start with ones you can get cheap, refine your technique, and work up to the nice ones.
