Storing cigars in a warehouse...
Hello,
I would like to know from anyone who runs there own shop or stores cigars in a warehouse what type of setup would be needed to keep a correct enviroment. My plan is to have rows of industrial racks with shevles lined up with boxes stacked on each level. Humidifiers would be placed kitty corner in the warehouse. The warehouse would also be controlled via A/C to keep at 68F-70F and would be vaccumed daily to keep a clean enviroment. Everything of course would be monitored with digital meters placed throughout the warehouse. Would this work? Any input is highly appreciated. Best Regards, J.L. |

Most have industrial humidifiers in the middle of the space, not near the walls, and some use ceiling fans to move the air.

Should I use triple-refined butane in the forklift?

Here ya go...industrial strength humidification.
http://www.microcool.com/humidity/ Most solutions use some kind of humistat connected to relay controlled emitters directly on pipes suspended in the ceiling. The water has to be absulutely free of minerals so it needs to go through cannister-type filters prior to going to the emitters. http://www.microcool.com/products/fogpumps.shtml |
