Blues and Jazz on Radio
One thing in Detroit, we have good music on the radio thanks to WDET. You can listen to blues (right now, 10am - noon on Saturdays) and Jazz (evenings weeknights, 8-10pm) and lots of eclectic stuff all weekend (Sunday 10am to noon is fantastic). You can listen at http://www.wdetfm.org/
Any other great stations out there? KCRW comes to mind...

I suggest those who enjoy jazz listen to WDET weeknights from 7-0. Ed Love, the DJ knew or knows all the big players. He is an amazing DJ, he is very funny during the fund raisers, even.
"Well Dizz was here once. Everyone says they were his friend. Funny. Dizz didn't have any friends who didn't play Jazz."
