Dutch women's group rebel against World Cup

AMSTERDAM -- A group of Dutch women, fed up with their partners' obsession with soccer, have joined forces to revolt against the World Cup.

"We, the Women for Football-free Netherlands, have rebelled against the World Cup ... Get rid of the World Cup once and forever."

"Women are threatened with being overwhelmed with an orange testosterone cloud of football madness ... this must stop. Here and now. It has gone too far. We cannot remain silent any more." (The Dutch soccer team colors are orange.)

"We are really bored with it," said one. "All our guys are glued to the TV, forgetting about us and everything else. They think that women don't understand the game and are only good to serve beer and snacks."

The women say they should have control of TV remote controls, refuse to wash men's orange-colored outfits and make them serve breakfast in bed.
