I visit and smoke in as many cigar lounges as I can. At some places, it is understood that the nice leather furniture lounge is accessed by buying at least one cigar. At others, I know they want you to at least take a good look at what they have.

Conversely, there are cigar lounges that charge an annual club fee. If I pay my yearly dues and someone wants to get all jackhole about it, I'll go to the manager, or all the way to the owner if I need to, and ask for a club refund.

I also talk to the owners/employees when I am there, make suggestions about something they might not have that I am hunting or whatever.

Bottom-line though? All five of these can be summed up into one simple rule: "Don't be a dick."
