Rap lyrics and teaching
Funny story.
Yesterday, one of the girls in my class walks in late and has her hair different, so I "stare" to make sure she's who I think se is. One of the guys in the class says, "Look at Mr. Slatton, checking out Adrienne." So I said to him, "To me, there are only two women in the world, my wife, and all the rest." He said, "Oh, that's great. I hope I can find that some day." So I said, "If you're havin' girl problems, I feel bad for you,son. I got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one." (JayZee lyric in his latest Ice-T cover) He damn near fell off of his chair laughing, saying, "Damn, who knew Mr. Slatton's down."
