This is it gents. Our last chance! The bullshit smoking ban goes into affect May 1st. Let's go out in a cloud of smoke!

I hope this gives everyone enough lead time to work it into your calendars!

I'd like to think I can make it, but that's a ways off. I certainly have marked it in the calendar, but let's see what things are like then. I'd certainly like to meet you guys.

We need to come up with a place to go to after the ban takes effect. I was thinking Robusto's, but that's listed as a martini bar, so I'm not sure that they'll be able to allow smoking there...remember the establishment has to make 10% of their revenue from tobacco sales. Cigar shops frown on people bringing in cigars of their own (understandably, of course). Any ideas? Ted, would Ishmael(sp?) be open to having herfs held at one of his places?

Looks like the act of handing out cigars will take a big hit once this ban comes in to play. I guess we can still hand out cigars, but will have to buy the establishments cigars. Of course, one might just slip by...

Robusto's is a great place, I'm there fairly often. I talked to them a while back when the shit was on the way to the fan. They're a registered cigar bar so they're clean & green.....so to speak!

AND no problem bringing your own smokes!

It's a well-stocked Delta-T.
