Stored Boxes Propped Open or Left Closed?

Do you place something between the lid and bottom to keep the lid slightly open to allow for some air circulation?

Leave 'em closed. Less fluctuation in humidity and slower more rewarding aging.

Depends on how quickly you want to age them. I generaly want my smokes to acclimate and become smokable after a trip. I leave them open for a few days for the most air exchange. After awhile I don't care and close them.

All my boxes stay closed. I figure that the cedar allows the cigars to breathe some. The only exception is my SLB boxes. I leave the lid slid back an inch or so to allow more air in. In the end, I'm not sure it makes much difference.

SLB boxes rule! Wish all cigars I bought by the box were offered this way!

I used to prop them open with the clasp, but it got to be too much trouble.

Go ahead and close them up.

This newbie leaves them closed. Better stacking and slower aging.
