This cigar has a rustic dark wrapper. The foot has light aromas of toasted tobacco. The cold draw is perfect. Tonight’s beverage is a Chocolate Doberge Cake Stout.



The initial flavors are medium bodied and earthy with some sweetness. The retohale starts very light and smooth. The ash is light grey and looks solid. The burn is even.



In the first third the flavor profile remains medium bodied and lightly sweet. The retohale is a bit thin. The ale is flavor heavy and may affect the flavors of the cigar. Not the best pairing. The ash remains fairly solid and the burn goes somewhat diagonal.



During the second third the flavor profile remains steady. There may be some cocoa notes, but that may be from the ale. The retohale remains pretty thin and smooth. The ash remains fairly solid and the burn remains uneven but steady.



Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains steady. The volume of smoke increases increases but remains smooth. The burn started to run on the short side of the diagonal and had to be corrected. The ash remains fairly solid.



Overall a very good medium bodied cigar with a nice complexity. The construction is a bit off, with the uneven burn and a small split in the wrapper. 8.8/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
