World Cup 2018 or 2022

Big time mixed emotions on this one.
27 U.S. cities are still in the running to host matches. Houston is close; Dallas is close, Nashville is close, Atlanta is close.

New Orleans is CLOSER, AND a world-class venue for all manner of sporting championships. And it's already been rejected. This PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF.
The Superdome is within a MILE of over 25,000 hotel rooms, and at least 50 WORLD CLASS restaurants.

US Soccer is so clueless on SO MANY levels.

Just think...they could come to America and never lose the feel of a Third World country.

Between Noo Awlins, Houston, L. A., Miami, and Washington D.C., you're right.

Then there's the IRA in Boston for that Irish, Belfast feel.....Philly for the East End of London or the City of Scouse.

They had it in 1994 at the Citrus Bowl. I remember watching the Irish wilt on TV in that heat and humidity.
