Few weeks ago I got one of these as a freebee with an order. Got the email today with this offer so decided to try the cigar.
Took it out of the cello and smelled it. I didn't care for the smell at all and figured this was a dog rocket which is probably why they are blowing them out. 1st couple puffs sort of tasted like it smelled before I lit it but then this thing really opened up and took off.
Light pepper, spice, subtle sweetness in the background at times. Smoke output is amazing as well. Med strength but full bodied. I just finished the corona Gorda and lips and tongue are tingling like I just smoked a cuban. Burnt lips and fingers as well. Not often I can say that about an NC.
If you like Cuban Partagas you will probably like these and at 65 a box for 4 of them they are a very good deal.
As I have mentioned many times, it's hard to find a NC that satisfies my palate. Curivari and Tatuaje are 2 that do. The tat black PC's at 180 a box for 50 I thought was a good deal. I like them but these are better and cheaper if buying 4 boxes.

I did load up 4 boxes but the sale prices didn't come up so I will message them in the morning and let them know.

Thanks. I thought so too and looked at other sites and regular prices at other sites is at least 175 so even 80 a box is a great deal but I want 4 at 65 . LOL

I messaged them about the 4 box deal not working at checkout. They messaged back yesterday and said they would look into it and I never heard back from them.

Get them while you can. Hamlet Paredes (the former master blender/roller at Partagas in Havana) no longer works with Rocky Patel, so his lines are going away.

This deal ends at 12 am on the 19th. Even after the deal ends though, 80 a box is still 1/2 what any other retailer is getting. Fox must have gotten a great deal on them or something. They have over 700 boxes of the corona gordos in stock and over 100 of the robustos. Mine will be here end of the week and once they rest, I'm going to make them a daily smoker and try 2-3 a day for awhile and see how they hold up. If they do well I will see if I can cut a deal with them for 4 boxes a month at the special rate.

I remember back in the early 2000's hamlet used to roll customs in Havana that were very popular. Now he is doing some deal with FOH I think.
