Reposado '96
Some of you may have noticed the Reposado '96 special on CI: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/p...sp?item=CS-RSB . I've never heard of 'em. Anyone smoked these or heard about quality?
Thanks. |

I won a 5er of the Habanas from cbid a couple months ago and liked them. Kind of light weight, and fast burning for its size, but a nice enough medium bodied stick.
Don't know that I'd turn to salomons full time, but I'd say these are a good value, and as advertised in terms of flavor.

I pulled the trigger on these based on liking a j fernandez' other cigars. for a couple bucks a large stick they seemed like a good deal.

I bought the ones with the Habanos wrapper. They're medium body through and through with an easy draw. The wrapper tasted like it was short of being cured properly, but still a good smoke. I got a feeling that with a little rest they'll be an even better smoke. I'll definitely be getting some more of these.

I rushed through one, I was in the yard whacking a tree down and really rushed it. Very forgettable. I smoked another today, slower and way more enjoyable. I think they need so settling time at the least, agree they are medium, there are some solid flavors in there. These remind me somewhat of the JFR cigars I've seen at B&M stores.
