I just got a bottle of Black Maple Hill. Recommended by HiTimes Wines, out of California. It is 47%, limited edition from cask #147. Looks great, bottled in a wine-style bottle, with the red wax top (not dripped like Maker's Mark). At $45 a pop, this will be a "one drink at a time" bourbon. Anybody ever hear or taste this

I'll post my thoughts when sampled, probably this Saturday night.

Yessir! Really good stuff...but like you said, VERY spendy. My in-laws got me a bottle for Xmas.

Very good bourbon. Depending on the age of yours, that's likely a good price you got. What age is it?

I believe the youngest version of this is 14 years old. I think they've released several versions between 14 and 20 years of age.
