my first Xikar
I just got an Xikar on Monday and have used it several times now, and I must say that it has a great mechanism, very sharp blades, works well.
Before this one my favorite was my Colibri cutter. Now I have to choose which to take to the HERF on Friday night. |

The shop has a Xicar that everyone uses. Man I had to squeeze that Sublime in there, but it fit rather snugly . Not that I'm complaining

I ordered and just received two --- both Xi2 models. One is as smooth as silk and makes a fine cut. The other is sloppy and sticky. The told me to send it back for a replacement.
BTW, don't forget to go to their website and register the thing for a free leather case --- AND, those are replaceable for "free" if it wears out.... ....seem like nice folks.... |

Never say Colibri and Xikar in the same sentence.

I should pick one of these up, I tend to like using my punch though, unless its a torp of course.

I bought the Xi2 a couple months ago and mine sticks pretty badly and the cut is rarely even. I guess based on this thread i need to send it back.
Bummer.
