One Off Corona by Illusione

This cigar has a Colorado Claro colored wrapper that is very smooth. The aroma from the foot is light tobacco with a hint of sweet spice. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a Ballast Point Peanut Butter Imperial Porter.

The initial flavors are earthy with some cinnamon in the background. Cayenne is prominent in the retrohale. The burn is even.

In the first third the smoke is very rich. The flavor profile remains consistent, although the cayenne in the retrohale has toned down. The burn is now very even.

During the second third a little nuttiness joins the flavor profile. The retrohale is very smooth now with almost no pepper. The burn remains very even.

Approaching the final inch the flavor profile remains excellent. The cigar has great complexity. The construction is also excellent. 9.3, Joe Bob says check it out.

Nice review Jeff! These are excellent cigars, too bad they're so expensive.

I've seen these at the local B&M. Haven't tried on yet due to the price, and not being sure if I would like it.

Very nice review. Tried a couple years ago. Thought they were good but don't recall anything special (memory fades).

These just came out this year, completely different from the Cuban Crafter version. These are based on the original line from 2002 made by Placensia. Illusione bought the brand from Cuban Crafters last year and re-introduced the line this year.

It may have had been 10+ years ago, so to be honest don't know what I smoked. :^)

Retrohale is where you force the smoke out through your nose. It gives a more complete flavor profile.

And the beer was delicious.
