he begat a boatload of chefs

one of the better Bourdain episodes featured Daniel Boulud and Bourdain visiting Bocuse

Ripert and Bourdain made me want to go to coastal Spain.

Look for "Somebody Feed Phil" on Netflix. It's goofy, but entertaining. Phil Rosenthal was a producer on " Everybody Loves Raymond" and has been married for 30 years to the actress who played Amy on the show. He's funny, Jewish in humor and an explorer.

Ripert and Bourdain play well off each other... check out when they go to China

Boulud in Lyon, well it is worth watching to see him at home with his family

Ripert's book is entertaining

I would like to go to his restaurant but probably never will

Passion, man. Ladies can't help themselves until they marry it.
